What "glow" actually is — and where it comes from

Glow is a system, not a product
When skin looks luminous, three things are usually true underneath: cells are well hydrated, micro-circulation is delivering nutrients efficiently, and inflammation is low. None of those can be applied from the outside — they're produced by the body, daily.
The three inputs that matter most
Hydration and lipids. Skin cells need water to stay plump and lipids to hold it in. Chronic under-hydration reads as dullness long before it reads as dryness.
Where a ritual fits
A daily ritual works because skin renews on a rhythm — roughly a monthly cycle from new cell to surface. Consistent inputs across that cycle beat intense but occasional ones. That's the reasoning behind formulating for daily use rather than for dramatic single doses.
The honest timeline
Steadier energy tends to show first, within a couple of weeks. Visible skin change follows the renewal cycle — most people notice it between weeks four and eight. If a product promises overnight glow, it's describing makeup, not biology.
